New Year!

 

Well it’s 2016 and I am ready to start blogging again. Last year was a lot of big changes for me and it sent me into a bit of a tailspin, mostly I wasn’t really feel the whole “blogging” thing, it started to feel like a job and I started to resent it.

Soo this year I’m over that, yes blogging does feel like a job sometimes but instead of dreading it I’m realising that I should feel honoured to have the job of blogging, I’m incredibly lucky to have such a great audience and I was taking it for granted.

When you blog you often just type all the thoughts that are in your head, it’s not constructed as a book would be and you sometimes don’t come of sounding like you intended, that is because I write stuff but I’m not a “writer” and that’s ok. I never set out to do this as a day job so I’m just going to remember why I started this blogging thing and that was solely to inspire others to eat well and a live a healthy life, so 2016 is going to be about just that.

Over the Christmas break I had such a nice time with my family, enjoyed walking lots, swimming at the beach and eating a LOT of leftover HAM!!! There’s only so many ways you can eat Ham before you get a little over it!

I met a wonderful health coach last year from my home town, many of you may already know who she is, Michelle Yandle is an exceptional woman who is doing some really amazing work and helping many people to live healthier lives. I felt incredibly honoured when she wanted to join forces and do a workshop together.


We are hosting a workshop on March 10th at 7pm at the Mayfair in New Plymouth, we will both be sharing our journeys and I will be doing a cooking demo. Tickets are available here so don’t miss out! I’m pretty excited about it and I look forward to meeting some new people!
